Writing Center: Works with students at any phase of the writing process — planning, drafting, revising — and helps improve grammar, mechanics and punctuation.

Math & Stats Lab: Free tutoring for mathematics and statistics classes. The math hotline (866-823-6284) is also available Sunday through Thursday (5-10 p.m.) for live, toll-free tutoring for students taking eLearning math courses.

CTC Learning Center: The CTC’s Learning Center is open to all UAF and CTC students and is equipped to deliver tutorials in person, over the phone, and, in new collaboration with UAF eLearning, using video over the computer.

Speaking Center: The Speaking Center is a student-oriented service provided to facilitate preparing public presentations. Students can receive coaching in refining their presentation topic, in organizing their presentation effectively, and in practicing their presentation. The Center makes it possible to digitally record and to watch one’s practice presentation, receiving constructive feedback from a Speaking Center coach.

Foreign Language Tutors: A service specifically for students studying a foreign language.

Disability Services: The UAF Office of Disability Services operates in conjunction with UAF eLearnng. Disability Services, a part of UAF’s Center for Health and Counseling, provides academic accommodations to enrolled students who are identified as being eligible for these services. Atomic Learning: A library of 1,000+ educational resources, including many 2- to 3-minute video tutorials that answer the “How do I do that?” questions. Software Training Videos: A collection of online video tutorials to improve your skills related to computer software, including Adobe and iOS.

Student Support Services: This department offers a variety of resources for financially limited students, first-generation students and those with documented physical or learning disabilities.
