Hundreds of thousands of dollars of scholarship and grant money goes unclaimed every year because students do not apply for them. You may think you do not qualify, but when in doubt, apply!
Financial aid packages always start with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which you can fill out each year at fafsa.gov. That lets the UAF Financial Aid Office know that you are looking for assistance. So even if you don’t want a loan and don’t think you qualify for a grant, apply anyway!
Below you will find additional scholarship opportunities and clearinghouses. Please note that UAF eLearning as a department also hosts a scholarship opportunity in the summer semester every year for degree-seeking students.
